In a time of musical prevalence, four merry souls gather together to indulge in harmonic bliss. Assembled from the farthest regions of the stratosphere “Spyder Monkey” delivers the very best in live entertainment. It all started with an idea to make the best music possible while having more fun than one human should possibly be allowed to have.  

They combine some of the hottest sounds in music to achieve the solitary goal of entertaining mass audiences’ world wide. A Spyder Monkey performance will have you cracking coconuts off your head and sucking down banana smoothies. The grooves and funky beats are difficult to shed as you quake to the fantastic rhythm.

The group is fronted by singer songwriter Susie Lofton, co-founder & former voice of the Chicago band Digable Cat. Her lyrical musings have been described as “sweet, soulful & unique”. She commands a powerful voice that transcends the average rock diva with a timber that is truly unmatched. Some projects Susie has been involved with in the past include recording projects at the world famous Fantasy Studios in Berkley, California. as well as performing with Sonia Dada vocalist Paris Delane.

Coming from the heart of the Jungle is the beast behind the beauty: Ricky Flores – Drums, Chuck Polenzani – Guitars & Jeff Blatherwick – Bass. The three-headed monster scaling the latitudes of a well oiled, finely tuned machine, bring to life many genres of music with a few swings from branch to branch.

The group was founded late 2004 with the idea of giving the average rock groove a smooth graceful even flow. Our desire is to build a band with one thing in mind “unique entertainment”. With the diverse backgrounds that make up this collaboration they have done just that! From the thunderous vibes of a dangerous breed, some Spyder Monkey is all you need.
